Cream Bronzers

Cream Bronzers are a popular choice and a personal favourite, especially during the summer months as they can be worn sheer or full and create a natural glow! There are so many options that are available now which is really great! My first cream bronzer was the Chanel Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream which is an icon and I know so many of you love it! Cream textured bronzers may see tricky to apply but they blend so seamlessly into your make-up creating the a soft & natural glow that mimics the look of your own skin. Cream bronzers are perfect also if you tend to have dry skin as they are hydrating, blend effortlessly and won’t cling onto dry patches like a powder might typically do.

From prices that go from £6 taking you through to the more luxury, all these bronzers have gorgeous textures and are formulas that I use my makeup kit and can highly recommend!

Revolution – Ultra Cream Bronzer

This is so affordable at £6 and is such a creamy texture and blends very easily. You really only need to apply a small amount of this as it goes a long way. It’s also available in 6 shades from light to deep-dark.

E.L.F – Putty Bronzer

Another budget friendly choice and firm favourite! For £7, this ELF putty to powder bronzer melts into the skin so well and I love how handy it is for the makeup bag. It’s enriched with Vitamin E and Argan oil leaving the skin feeling nourished and supple. This does have a slight shimmer to it, but it’s not overpowering at all, it just gives a little extra dimension.

Maybelline – Lifter Stix Creamy Multi-Use Makeup Stick

Make this your go-to for a flawless look for only £9.99! This smooth-gliding formula works as a foundation, contour, highlight, and concealer, all you would need is a couple of shades. This cream balmy texture blends effortlessly and the unique domed shape stick is great for targeting the hollows of the cheeks and under the eyes. You get instant colour payoff, plus the buildable formula lets you customise your coverage. I love the radiant and hydrating finish you get with this product and the handy packaging makes it perfect for travelling with you for on-the-go touch ups.

REFY – Cream Bronzer

This bronzer comes in a gorgeous range of cool and warm-tones to suit all skin tones. It has a velvety texture that is easily blendable and hydrating to the skin. It gives such a lovely natural, sun-kissed glow and can be used to add definition as well as bronzing the skin. For £16 I think the quality is so good!

Beauty Pie – Awesome Bronze Gorgeous Sunkissed Bronzing Cream

This dreamy, creamy bronzer is back in stock after selling out fast! It’s a soft-matte cream formula that blends effortlessly, giving a sun-kissed glow. With four gorgeous shades, it’s truly mistake-proof and perfect for everyone, especially in the summer when your skin may feel oily. Beauty Pie members can get it for just £18, while non-members pay £30. Even at £30, it’s a fantastic value for such a quality product!

No7 – Pro Artist Soft Glow Cream Bronzer

This is one of my personal favourite’s from No7’s range and it went completely viral when it launched! It’s has a rich velvety cream formula that is lightweight and blendable. It promises a radiant finish to enhance your natural beauty, which I totally believes it does. I also love the luxe packaging, it feels way more expensive than what it actually is! (£20).

Trinny London – Golden Glow Bronzer

Trinny London’s Golden Glow is a cream bronzer that adds a sun-kissed warmth, perfect for skin craving a holiday. It’s lightweight and super easy to apply. The finish looks natural, providing dimension while being beautifully blendable and buildable. One of the best features is its compact size and it also allows you to stack it with other Trinny products to create your own personalised makeup palette. This makes it incredibly convenient for travel and keeps your favourite items organised. (£25)

Merit – Bronze Balm

I find the application so satisfying with a stick bronzer like this. It’s so lovely to apply as you can be so precise on the placement. The Bronze Balm is a sheer formula that is perfect for building up if need be and creates a gorgeous, soft definition. I love how you can map out exactly where you want it, then just buff into the skin leaving a natural warmth. It’s £26 and comes in 5 shades, packaged in a luxurious gold tube.

Saie – Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer

This bronzer starts sheer but builds up beautifully. Its formula is perfect for various skin tones, giving a healthy bronze glow that melts into your skin and feels soft and velvety to the touch. I love applying it with my fingers using a gentle tapping motion. You can buff it out, but be careful to only lightly blend the edges for a seamless look to not disturb your make-up underneath. Unlike some balmy textures, this one doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky or tacky, which is a huge plus! (£26)

Rare Beauty – Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Stick 

Rare Beauty’s liquid-cream hybrid bronzer glides on smoothly and blends easily with both your fingers or buff brush. Again, I really like the contour stick vibe as the application is fool-proof! It has a grease-free, water-resistant finish, so you don’t have to worry about it caking, creasing or clogging your pores. I love how it gives a natural, radiant bronze that looks fresh and beautiful. It’s available in 8 shades and is £28.

Vieve – Modern Radiance Cream Bronzer

I really love using this cream bronzer. It has the most gorgeous, seamlessly buildable formula that is enriched with antioxidant-rich vitamin E that nourishes, smooths and guards your skin from damage. It gives a natural, radiant finish and makes your bronzing routine so effortless. All 4 shades are the perfect match to the Vieve’s Modern Bronzer and Modern Powder Perfector. (£32)

Patrick Ta – Major Sculpt Crème Contour & Powder Bronzer Duo

Designed to enhance your own natural beauty, this bronzer duo pairs a dewy cream with a finely milled powder to create gorgeous depth and chiseled cheekbones. I love how the multi-use crème can be used on your cheeks, eyelids and brow bones for a soft glow. Then topped up with the powder to deepen shadows and add dimension.  The range of shades suit all skin tones. (£33)

Makeup by Mario – Soft Sculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer

This is such a pretty 3-in-1 cream bronzer. I love how it blurs imperfections, warms, shapes, and evens your skin tone with  the most perfect dewy finish. It’s extremely lightweight and has a non-comedogenic formula looks stunning alone, over foundation, or on powder. I’ve used this as a skin tint alone as it just adds the right amount of warmth and natural sculpting. For £35, this is *chefs kiss*.

Nars – Laguna Bronzing Cream

This gives endless summer skin! I feel like this is the perfect bronzer for anytime of the year. There are five beautiful shades inspired by the original and iconic shade ‘Laguna’. The silky formula glides on smoothly and lasts a long time, giving my skin a natural warmth that feels so comfortable. I also love that it’s scented with Monoï de Tahiti Oil, which helps keep my skin moisturised and looking firm. (£38)

Ilia Beauty – Sun shift Cream Bronzer

This unique formula transforms from a smooth cream to a lightweight powder, giving you a natural sun-kissed look that lasts up to 12 hours. It is also packed with antioxidants that help to protect your skin from pollution while keeping pores wonderfully clear! The 4 beautiful shades replicate that perfect golden-hour glow. Charlotte Tilbury – Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer

This cream bronzer is tanning goals and this compact is huge and comes with a mirror which is always handy! This formulation blurs imperfections, hydrates your skin, and gives you that sun-kissed glow. Perfect for both face and body, it enhances your complexion beautifully. The formula feels almost velvety and feels luxurious and smooth when applying, leaving your skin looking stunning. I love using it on my collarbones for that extra definition, especially while on holiday. Plus, it lasts up to 16 hours and is sweat and humidity-proof, so you can enjoy your day worry-free. (£45)

Chanel – Les Beiges Healthy Glow Bronzing Cream

This really sets the bar for cream bronzers. Although at a high price point of £50, I truly do believe you get what your pay for. The consistency is incredible and has the most perfect blurring effect on the skin. The lightweight formula gives a gorgeous glow and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and warm. It never looks cakey or patchy, just pure natural, sun-kissed skin. I also use it without any other makeup which just lifts the complexion.

Bronzer Brushes I Swear By 

The Clinique Buff Brush has been my go to for years! It’s hands down one of the best for blending cream bronzers. The bristles are dense but super soft, so it buffs product in seamlessly without streaks or patchiness. The brush itself feels amazing on the skin. It’s also great for liquid or stick foundations, tinted moisturisers, and I even use it to blend in a cream blush.

Bare Minerals  – Smoothing Face Brush

This is such a gem and always a winner for applying creamy textured products. The dual-fiber bristles make it the perfect tool for blending in liquid or cream products without overloading the skin. It gives a soft-focus, natural look and I reach for this brush all the time. It’s one of those brushes that quietly does all the hard work for you and it’s a great size to pop in the makeup bag!

REFY – Duo Brush

This is a Double-ended face brush for streak free application. It has a mix of two bristles. The white stippling bristles ensure an easy, streak free application and natural finish. It is perfect for blending and picking up the small amount of product needed for building the desired colour. The smaller buffing brush contains soft, dense fibres that always pick up the right amount of product and great for contouring and precise application.
