Cherry on Top 🍒

Cherry fragrances are having a real moment and are one of the big scent trends for 2025 and 2026. In the past, cherry perfumes could feel a little too sweet or youthful, but the current trend is all about darker, richer and more sophisticated blends. Now, cherry is often paired with moodier notes like leather, oud, smoky woods and warm spices, giving it a grown up, mysterious edge. Today, I’m sharing some of the cherry fragrances I already love – from iconic favourites to a few that have caught my eye and are firmly on my wish list! 🍒

Phlur – Cherry Stem

PHLUR is known for creating modern, viral fragrances that lean into the idea of a “skin scent”. Their soft, personal perfumes are designed to blend with the wearer and feel completely unique, and Cherry Stem is exactly that. It’s a fruity yet woody fragrance, combining juicy, dark, lacquered fruits that give it a rich and slightly indulgent feel. There’s something intimate about it and the fragrance was actually inspired by the idea of flirtation, which feels very fitting! I definitely get a cherry Bakewell vibe, with a soft almond sweetness and a smooth, creamy edge that makes it feel incredibly comforting and so addictive.

Tom Ford – Lost Cherry

This is the ultimate cherry indulgence! And ahead of trend, this one launched in 2018. It opens with rich morello cherry and cherry liqueur accords which smells instantly juicy and slightly boozy, before the creamy, nutty almond note softens it beautifully. There’s also a very delicate hint of rose while the base of woods and tonka bean gives it depth and warmth. It’s dark, sophisticated and delicious. I love how this one lasts for so long on the skin and is also available in a luxurious candle.

Dior – Rouge Trafalgar

This is such a beauty and truly the epitome of elegance. The cherry is crisp and lifted by a hint of pink pepper, giving it a gentle, spicy edge. It then blends beautifully with Turkish and Bulgarian roses, adding a soft floral layer, which I love. It definitely has a gourmand feel, making it so moreish, with an almost glossy quality that feels so luxurious. It leans slightly feminine, though it’s designed to be unisex and the longevity is amazing. It’s one of those fragrances that stays with you all day. So luxe!

Floral Street – Black Lotus

The cherry hits right away, but it’s grounded by lotus petals and warm woody undertones, giving it a kind of burnt cherry twist. It’s been described as English rose in a black leather jacket and it’s so true, it feels like cherry with attitude. Black Lotus is wearable, modern and just a little bit addictive.

Guerlain – Cherry Oud

Cherry Oud is incredibly luxurious! It’s another richer take on cherry where the fruit is combined with dark, woody oud and enriched by sweet, candied cherry and a jammy rose core. It’s stunning and quite intense, but the subtle sweetness keeps it from feeling heavy. It’s one of those fragrances that feels like a statement the moment you wear it.

L’Occitane Fleurs de Cerisier

This is definitely a more floral and airy take on cherry. You get a beautiful blend of cherry blossom, fresh red berries and a hint of soft musk. It’s not heavy at all… It has this almost petal-like softness that feels so feminine and elegant. It’s such a lovely contrast to some of the deeper, richer fragrances and honestly feels like spring in a bottle.

Kayali – Lovefest Burning Cherry

Another dark, more seductive take on the note. Juicy cherry and raspberry hit first, instantly catching your attention, then the warm, smoky palo santo gives it a unique, slightly charred twist. It’s so different and captivating, with a richness that lingers beautifully all day.

Victoria Beckham Beauty – Suite 302

Suite 302 is such a powerful, unisex fragrance that has a rich, smoky blend of black cherry, black leather, and tobacco leaf, that instantly feels bold and sophisticated on the first spritz. Drawing inspiration from Victoria and David Beckham’s Paris anniversary getaways, it radiants glamour with a touch of mystery. The scent is intense but elegant, with amazing longevity and I love how it balances the smokiness with the sweetness of cherry. Definitely one for evenings or when you want a fragrance that leaves a lasting impression.

Juliette Has A Gun – Juliette

Juliette is such a dark, seductive cherry fragrance that is totally sensual and fierce. I just love how it opens with juicy dark cherry and a little kick of pink pepper, giving it that slightly spicy, edginess. Honestly, this one is such a compliment giver! Juliette Has A Gun just keeps showing all the different sides of femininity with their fragrances and this one is bold, confident and passionate.

Van Cleef & Arpels – Moonlight Cherry

If you’re after something soft and romantic, Moonlight Cherry is an absolute dream! It’s actually a really lovely unisex scent, blending cherry with bitter almond, rum, roasted coffee, vanilla and a touch of white musk. The result is rich, slightly dessert-like and almost edible… It has similar vibes to Tom Ford Lost Cherry, but softer and more delicate, making it perfect for anyone who loves cherry without it feeling too heavy or sweet.

Joonbyrd Kaleidoscope Smoothing Body Serum

I love all things Joonbyrd and this serum is absolutely incredible. It has a velvety texture that I find melts into the skin with such ease, instantly making it feel smoother and refined. Over time, it helps to brighten the skin and improve its overall appearance, gently exfoliating to smooth texture and gradually fade pigmentation. It also has this beautiful, soft cherry fragrance that makes the whole experience extra special.

L’Occitane – Fleurs de Cerisier Body Lotion

I’ve always loved L’Occitane for their body care, they consistently create the most beautiful textures paired with stunning scents. This is such a lightweight, milky lotion that sinks into the skin quickly, leaving behind a light veil of fresh cherry blossom fragrance. There’s also a subtle shimmer in the formula that gives the skin a gentle, healthy glow.

BYREDO – Loose Lips Candle

I thought I’d add a candle into the mix too as Cherry isn’t just beautiful in perfumes, it also makes the most gorgeous scent for the home. The scent of Loose Lips is rich and juicy with a slightly sweet cherry note, balanced with soft florals and warm layers that make it feel so comforting. It has a slightly vintage feel as well, with rose and violet petals that nod to the glamorous makeup looks of the 1980s, softened by hints of the beautiful Morello cherry, iris root and powdery rice touches.

Fenty Beauty – Hydrating + Strengthening Lip Oil

I’m also loving all the cherry lip products at the moment. The scents are honestly delicious and the cherry tones are so flattering on the lips. Fenty lip products are gorgeous and this Lip Oil in shade Black Cherry is such a favourite. It gives a really pretty, slightly tinted finish that just enhances your natural lip colour. The gloss is super shiny but not sticky at all and it has that perfect “just-bitten” cherry look that feels fresh and juicy. I love that it actually hydrates, softens and helps strengthen your lips over time too!

Summer Friday’s – Lip Butter Balm

I love the Lip Butter Balms and this one is such a go to for an easy cherry lip. It gives a really pretty sheer red tint that enhances your natural lips just enough. The texture of the Butter Balm’s are so smooth and buttery, melting into the lips effortlessly without any stickiness while still feeling super nourishing and hydrating leaving your lips cared for throughout the day.

E.L.F – Reviver Lip Oil

I’m really loving E.L.F products at the moment and this Black Cherry Lip Oil “Jam Session” is such a great affordable find. I love the doe-foot applicator, it feels so luxurious when applying to the lips. The finish is super high-shine and juicy, giving that perfect cherry-gloss pout. It’s also gorgeous layered over lipstick, adding an extra glossy, plumped effect.

Dior – Addict Lip Glow Oil

The Dior Lip Oils are a product I always reach for as they feel like effortless luxury. The Black Cherry Glaze is such a stunning shade, giving amazing colour payoff while still keeping a soft, delicate shine on the lips. The formula is really unique too, as it reacts to your lips’ pH to deliver an individual, custom tint, so the colour feels slightly different and personal on everyone. It leaves lips feeling soft and supple, with up to 24 hours of hydration, which I really do notice throughout the day!

Glossier – Dotcom Lip Balm

The iconic Balm Dotcoms are such beautiful multi-purpose lip products and the Black Cherry shade is perfect if you want just a hint of tint. It gives a ripened cherry tone with a soft burgundy hue, sitting beautifully on the lips without feeling heavy.
